Stumbled into this hidden Gem here in Conroe, TX. The owner, Joel, was very hospitable and also gave us some food to try. It was so delicious! They have all kinds of treats here that I know are popular to snack on!! Pina’s store!! You will not be disappointed! Go in and support this local business!

Cool little Philippino supermarket-restaurant. I met a nice worker there name Joel. He help me find all the items I needed to try and make the ilocos empanada. We got to talk about different foods and he ended up giving me a plate of food so I and try. It was so delicious! I came back a few days later and gave him some of the ilocos empanadas that I made and some of my regular empanadas too. Joel ended up giving me something else to take home and try. I forgot the names of the food he gave me to try but if your reading this you should swing by and check the place out. It's half supermarket and half restaurant. Just a super nice guy and very helpful.

Northside Filipinos (and Filipino food lovers), rejoice! PINAS Asian Store in Conroe just might have everything you need. It’s only 15-20min north of The Woodlands, and I am so happy it’s so accessible for suburban residents like myself. They have a VAST selection of Filipino ingredients & snacks (I even found some harder to find items here), and they also offer a small selection of prepared food in their attached Tap Si Han cafe. It isn’t a grand buffet, and the selection changes regularly (with the exception of lumpia and BBQ kebabs offered daily). But, it is quality over quantity… because everything we tried was delicious! *Worth highlighting: We had some of the juiciest lechon I've had anywhere in the city (pork belly style available on weekends), and our family is in love with the ube cake! I met the NICEST owners [Joel & Jen] and was helped by friendly & knowledgeable employees [shoutout to Noel for helping me carry my goodies to the car]. They have karaoke mics turned on all day, if you’d like to indulge in a little musical fun while you’re dining in. They have an impressive catering menu, and you can reserve spots for a personalized/customizable “Boodle Fight” (IYKYK!!!)

First time visiting and it was very clean and the shop keeper was kind. I enjoyed seeing the snacks they carried and food. I also seen Japanese snacks here. I will be coming back soon ❤
